Sometimes I feel like I really don't want to get up the next day...

Facebook status updates are such BS. Nobody writes anything bad or uninviting. A typical status is either always a quirky or a boastful or a clever remark or worse something that incorporates all three. the brave now and then subtly hint sadness in a status update occasionally but increasingly more so. i mean I get it, you've got people from all parts of your life glancing at your status. would you greet someone you haven't seen in 20 years with "..... wishes he never walked into work late this morning..."? and no, I'm not rooting for sad updates but I feel the lack of balance makes the status update seem increasingly artificial...

I do the payroll at my IT Helpdesk. What I don't understand is why I get this small headache right at the end of consolidation process. It's simple stuff - nothing difficult - just adding hours and allowances with the respect to a particular shift.

I am going to be blogging a lot via a Miranda plug-in called IMBlogger. Excellent stuff especially if you're cooped up in a university lab that has disallowed MSN.

Welcome to "My Life Without Me". I think this blog is going to be centered around two things. One thing (for sure) will be about my struggle to get through a postgraduate qualification in Engineering. Two, it will follow my part-time my job (which is by the way working at a university IT helpdesk).
